Searching for THAT Furfrou by Snivy101

I've tried many Pokerader chains for a shiny Furfrou, but still no luck. Highest Furfrou streak was 36 and interupted by a.... SKIDDO...

I really want one, hope to get it soon. Doesn't help that Furfrous are "Uncommon" in Purple Flowers on Route 5. Been plowing through them with my Tyrantrum. Just counting the # of Pkmn defeated/captured in the chain by the PP used.

I can't believe I've been playing pokemon since crystal and I've only got one shiny. And its a Persian, which is one of the ones you can barely tell.

Yeah that stinks. Though I've done the same. I've played since Silver, and the only shiny I ever got was a Shiny Bidoof which is like the Persian only worse because Bidoof sucks. It was this generation where I finally wanted to get more. I bred Masuda Method for a Dedenne for my team. First time I've used a shiny in my MAIN team! I've gone on countless shiny hunts you should try too!

Annoying isn't it? I was trying for a shiny Zoroark, got to 27, and was ruined by a stinkin' Ditto...

Yeah. It took:

12 Days to get my Shiny Dedenne thru Masuda Method

7 Days of trying to get Skiddo or Furfrou to get Skiddo thru Pokerader

Another 7 days to get that Furfrou

A little more than 24 hours of Masuda Method to get Zorua shiny

3 Days of Friend Safari REs to get a shiny Snorunt

3 Encounters (NOT EVEN HUNTING but TRAINING) to randomly find a shiny Braixen in Friend Safari Today!

Also 30 minutes of Fishing Chains to get a shiny Skrelp to trade for a shiny Clauncher

It's very annoying trying to find a shiny, especially via Masuda and Pokerader.

Tell me about it. My best friend caught a shiny Dedenne via random encounter. She wasn't even looking for it! She also got a shiny Skrelp and Clauncher via chain fishing. She's got like 12 shinies.

I've only got 3, two of which she gave me:

A shiny Seadra (Now Kingdra)

A shiny Clauncher

And a shiny Eevee (hatched in 135 eggs in 5 days)

One friend of mine gets a shiny Combee the first day too! The funny thing is that it´s a male Combee, and it can´t evolve! XD

Yeah! When I caught a shiny Burmy in X, I check the gender and it´s male. Now I have a shiny Mothim, not a Wormadan.

Yea, I just got a Shiny Tyrunt this morning (just thought I'd throw that out their)

Im so exited. I now have 4 shinies (not counting the ones the game gives to you and events)

Wow! You´re so lucky!

My last shiny pkmn was a Pachirisu caught in the Friend Safari. I was so lucky that day becuase it´s the same day that I get the Burmy!

I though that I have 7 shinies (Luxray, Gastrodon, Lickilicky, Omastar, Pinsir, Mothim, and Pachirisu), but if I count the games gives you and the events I have 12 (Gyarados, Dragonite, Dialga, Palkia and Giratina).

LUCKY!!! I'm killing myself over it. Just want to get to a chain of 40 so I can keep resetting but even at my highest chain of 34 (with Furfrou) I get Skiddo'd or Pancham'd

LUCKY. This is a RECORD for me with shinies with the first 2 I've had since Platinum. Skiddo last week and of course my Dedenne. Though NEVER EVER have I randomly just run into a shiny, I always have to work for it, sooo many others just get it like that *snaps*

Yea. I only have the two, the first one I got wile hunting for litwicks for like 3 weeks, and the seccond I got randomly in heart-gold.

Exept something kinda stupid Im learning today is apparently my Heartgold game was broken before I got it. And even though I created a new file, it still regestered as a "broken game" so apparently all of my pokemon are considered Cheats....

I really hope it will still let me transfer them in the Pkmn bank...

I ended up with one out of a horde battle, but it was a Hoppip, so I ended up with a Pink Skiploom :/

Yeah... but at least Jumpluff looks shiny it has a different color coding making it special... not like my first Shiny.... Bidoof... :/ Which I actually can say I ran into randomly when using a Pokerader to get Zapdos in Platinum (I don't even know why I did that not possible) but.... Bidoof.... I've been KILLING myself over the stupidest mistakes. I had a chain of 38 yesterday SOOOOOOO close to 40 then just RESET A LOT! But.... I've been keeping my fingers away from the Circle pad.... but after one battle and hearing the upbeat music after.... whoops I hit the.... CIRCLE PAD
